The Difference Between Chemical Peels

At BELEZ Salon & Lash Studio, we offer a variety of facial spa services to help you achieve your skin goals. Among these offered services are chemical peels.

Chemical peels are facial procedures that use chemical solutions on the skin to remove the top layers. As the top layers shed, new skin growth comes back stronger and smoother than the layer that has been released. This process helps with a variety of skin concerns such as dark spots, scars, wrinkles, and acne. Chemical peels also vary in strength to accommodate your skin and sensitivity.

The two most popular chemical peels are Glycolic and TCA, both of which are offered by our professional estheticians at BELEZ Salon & Lash Studio.

Glycolic Peel

Glycolic Peels are a strong treatment to exfoliate the skin on a deeper level with different strengths. Glycolic acid penetrates deep into the skin and breaks down existing dead skin while lifting and loosening oil from deep in the skin which helps fight acne. Studies have also shown success in the Glycolic Peel’s abilities to slow down melanin production which allows it to combat dark spots.

For those suffering with acne, acne scars, blackheads, pimples, enlarged pores, cystic acne, and more, the Glycolic Peel could be for you!

TCA Peel

TCA Peels are a common strong skin treatment as well, with a bit of a different effect. Similar to the Glycolic Peel, TCA peels remove dead skin cells and speed up the production of newer, healthier skin. Primarily, TCA Peels are chosen by people looking for a solution to keep their skin young or to treat acne scarring and melasma.

If you are struggling with wrinkles, scarring, discoloration, or enlarged pores, our TCA Peel could be your easy solution to your desired skin!
